Precious Moments

80292328gLDzav_fsComing up at Thibault’s school next month is Grandparents Day. The kids get to invite their grandparents for tea, singing, story-time and at the end present them with a small gift. This led me to think of the Grandparents Days that I got to celebrate in school with my grandparents and other memories of moments spent with them. Grandparents are such special people! Even though I live far from mine, and have for several years, the physical distance hasn’t prevented us from being very close and finding ways to bond. I am so lucky that I have been able to do so much with them, learn so much from them and share so much with them! I never feel like we are very far apart… For the past two years my grandmother has been combating cancer, my grandfather too has been dueling with it, vicariously; this post is for her-
